Developing projects in energy infrastructure
Gabon Power Company was created in 2015 by the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund to develop energy infrastructure projects to enrich the energy mix and support sustainable growth in Gabon.
Gabon Power Company (GPC) operates in the field of studies, design, construction and operation of electricity and water production infrastructures.
GPC develops its projects in partnership with strategic players (industrial and financial) in the sector who are interested in their social and environmental impact as well as their international reputation. GPC is currently developing a total of four power plant projects and one water project. These projects are set to enter operations in the next few years and will contribute to meeting the rapidly growing demand from individuals and industries in a context of demographic growth and industrialization of the Gabonese economy.

Our Story
Gabon Power Company was established in 2015 by the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund to provide a new approach to the construction and operation of water and electricity infrastructure in Gabon.
GPC was created to address the need for new financing models to bridge Gabon’s infrastructure gap which the State budget alone could not support.
As a strategic and committed shareholder, GPC represents the interests of the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund on behalf of the Gabonese population in structuring projects to support the transformation of the national economy.
